Precarious

New owners of the house next door but one are having this giant ash tree cut down. 

Ash trees are a serious weed pest in these parts.  Every year I pull up hundreds of seedlings, all from this wretched tree.

I am ecstatic.  Even at this early stage, the light level has lifted noticeably.
