Up a hill

Up early to walk up a hill. Lomond, near Cupar. The signs say 2 hours each way, to the top. SiL kept walking off and waiting further up , leaving DD trying to decide whether to walk with me, or catch him up. I said a few times ‘why don’t you two go on? As you’re walking much faster than me’ I couldn’t face saying ‘don’t walk off’ ... anyway, after about half an hour of this fiasco, I said I was going back to the van. So I walked about an hour, they did the whole walk in 11/2 hours.
