2020 Thursday — Jumping off the Pier

We took a walk to the pier this afternoon. I was frustrated and wanted to do what these girls were doing! Jump off the pier!

I’m tired of politics and Covid19. I think we are getting lied to entirely too much. I watched the Mark Zuckerberg and Dr. Fauci online conversation today. The doc is adamant that we all need to be wearing face masks. Okay. But back in March when the entire country was quarantined, Mr. Fun & I watched the daily Press Conferences. Fauci and Dr.Birx were sure back then that we did not need to be wearing face masks.

I spoke over and over to our big screen, “Come on Fauci! You know that face masks would give us a measure of safety.” But nope, we didn’t need them.

Today he says, “We didn’t have enough masks back then for everyone, so I didn’t want to tell people they needed them.” REALLY? You couldn’t tell us to use a bandana? a scarf?

This pandemic needs a doctor (or a team of them) who is not influenced by politics.
