Penmon Point

It was annoyingly wet today until late in the afternoon, so we busied ourselves with A few games of Spacebase and then watched the re-run of the 2012 Olympic Super Saturday. When the rain stopped we went for a walk in the woods in search of the red squirrels, but I think that they have all disappeared when the site was closed and nobody was refilling the feeders. 
After the no-show we jumped in the car and took a short drive to Penmon Point. We always take a bit of a walk there as sometimes you can see the odd puffin from the beach. Today we spotted two - one on the sea with a sand eel in his beak and one flying further towards puffin island but both were way past the range of my camera. 
It has turned out to be a nice sunny evening which is set to continue tomorrow.
