Blipping Forty

Heavenfield

It was a gloriously sunny day today so I wrapped up against the northerly wind & headed to Heavenfield which is just a few miles from Corbridge. There has been a church on this site since about 600AD & it stands very close to the route of Hadrian's Wall. The church stands in the middle of a field & has no mains electricity. It is such a peaceful spot with views north to the Scottish border. Today there were a few snowdrops here & there in the church yard.

Hope you've all had a good day!
