Sally Mair - Loving life

By Sallymair

Four generations

More than 90 years between great nana and the girls. They had a lovely reunion today mostly in the sunshine in the garden playing with their aunty's Polly Pockets (the girls not great nana!) which have also survived over 25 years and are still popular.
Mostly sunny today and a very happy day catching up. In spite of the heat we had a delicious roast chicken for dinner. I think it's my absolute favourite and one of those gifts which keeps on giving.
Evening prayer this evening via Zoom, we should be back in church in a couple of weeks and able to meet up again albeit at a distance.
Picked 1/2 of rasps today with still lots to pick and more to ripen. I must get around to picking the blackcurrants before the birds discover them.

Keep well everybody, and keep everybody else safe. Masks are such a little inconvenience, think of the poor shop staff who have to wear them all day long, not to mention all those key workers who've been wearing them for months. Guess I can manage an hour or less while shopping.
