Lemon Drizzle!

N’s favourite today for our lockdown “Baking Wednesday”.

L learned about lemon zest today and not to eat all the icing before we drizzled it onto the cakes!


Later today I visited my podiatrist friend for a new treatment on a pesky verruca that I have had for a few months. She is running a clinical review for the company and, as her first test patient, I was not charged.

Now, I have had verruca treatments in the past and they usually involve some sort of pain... but this one was super quick and completely painless! Wow! I will need a second treatment in around a month’s time. So far, the “plasma verruca pen therapy” is to be recommended. Let’s hope it gets rid of the problem!

My friend is also Bella the Labrador puppy’s mummy and we took her for a little walk afterwards to meet L and N who were exploring nearby while they waited for me. N had not met Bella before and thought she was very cute. L continued to be brave.
