Wet St John's wort

It started quite pleasantly sunny this morning - I even put shorts on when dressing after exercising.  But it then proceeded to cloud over, and eventually rained on and off.  

This was taken on a brief foray into the garden during a less wet moment.  There wasn't much going on - though I did get a photo of a very tatty looking ringlet butterfly.  And I've stored up a "view" across the meadow that will look lovely in the late afternoon sunshine if we ever get any more this "summer".

After this, I came back into the house quite cold, and have had to get changed into trousers and a sweater.
