Life Is What You Make It

What’s the best golf course in the world?  The one you are are on. This is Knollwood a LA park system municipal course famous for being a Sinatra rat pack hangout many years ago, and extreme slow play today. 

Here’s a quote from the Yelp review: "Unless you are looking to play a 7 hour round, STAY AWAY. If the city allowing fivesomes wasn't bad enough, there is zero marshallling to be seen. It’s full of golfers who cannot break 100 standing above shots for five minutes, taking 5 or 6 terrible practice swings, resulting in a 75 yard drives.....offline. Tight, narrow fairways on most holes and the rough is full of Poison Oak.   In the time it takes to play at Knollwood you could play two rounds at two different courses.”

I went with three good friends and had a great time with a lot of laughs and enjoyed the rolling hills and setting sun. If my niece reads this, she will say, "Uncle Tom, you are probably the guy mentioned in the yelp review".
