I had to take Millie out for an extra walk today as the fireplace fitters were cutting metal and she was going bonkers.

They arrived at lunchtime, fitted the new lintel, and gone home as the scaffolders can't come till next tuesday, so no roaring fire this weekend.

Not last year's man, but still good. May it rain.
