A Little Blue

Last day 'off' (I was online at 7am getting some work done, this working from home all the time thing just blurs home and work in a way I don't entirely like) of the long weekend and out to one of our favourite coastal walks. Save for the farmer of the farm we walk past at the start, we didn't seen a single other soul in 3-4 hours of walking.

Time to take in the sea, spot the raptors (Merlin, Peregrine, Sparrowhawk, Kestrel and Buzzard), even a Greater-spotted Woodpecker trying his luck on some fenceposts, and a stack of butterflies (the stars being this tiny Common Blue, and the even smaller Northern Brown Argus in the extra).

Need to make the most of this, given those for whom a loosening of lockdown means seeing loads of folk, downing pints, and hanging around in groups (as well as those who see wearing a mask in a shop as some sort of assault on liberty) will likely see us back into lockdown proper again at some point.
