Mighty

Day in today, we should have made the effort to go out somewhere but none of us could really be bothered, instead we made birthday cards for John's mum and playing with toys. I am meeting a friend tomorrow at a childrens outdoor farm and I am very much looking forward to adult company. My friends daughter is in the same bubble as the girls at preschool so we will keep our distance but wont be strict with the children as they are mixing at preschool anyway.

I realised today that my childcare plans for September are flawed as I assumed my childminder would be able to take Ivy to school two days a week but after speaking to her today, I realised she isn't able to. So I've got a bit more juggling to figure out how I'll manage that. I could spread my hours over the week and work all 5 half days, but it's not very sensible use of my time to work everyday when I could work 2.5 days and have 2 days at home with Bea.

The hamster is getting much more tame with me and will happily climb over me. I got her some monkey nuts with my food delivery today which she seems very pleased with.
