I can still run, just

The most exciting thing that happened today was the curtain man visit, I ordered, negotiated a fair discount (taking into account commission) and paid in the space of about 15 minutes. They are due to be erected 30th July.

After all this anticipation the afternoon felt sluggish, and me likewise. I went for a short run/jog/combined walk just after 4 and was surprised how relatively easy it felt, especially after not having run for probably a month or more. The weather was perfect, a tad cooler, overcast and with a hint of drizzle. I will endeavour to keep this up, I know it shifts my mood in the right direction.

So that’s the blip for today my running shoes, which I have had for several years and they have many more miles in them. Not how it used to be but there we are, I haven’t stopped altogether. Looking like the swimming pools will not be open until October, although perhaps they might be able to arrange something a bit sooner for the outdoor one at DL. Running, long walks and a some hills will have to do meantime.
