at last

I have captured a butterfly - first one this year. It only posed very briefly and I got 2 quickie pictures. Collected lots of fruit this morning - gooseberries, blueberries, cherries, and a bowl of tomatoes. Finished a couple of sewing projects too. This afternoon I spent a while answering a friend’s email as she’s just lost someone she loved very much. She lives in Holland now but she used to work with me in Leicester many years ago and we’ve always kept in touch. It hasn’t been the best of times for her for quite a while.
