STEELY WORK

Thanks to a tip-off from Blipper Kiteseeker . . . I went to explore the new Carriage Stables on the NYMR. Very impressive . . . and this looks as if it is only a third of the final design. Main image shows the steelwork under construction. Extras include . . . Stableyesd . . . a collage of work underway . . . and Impression . . . a view of the finished product, which looks as if it will have a 4-line capacity and will end up being able to house at least 30 coaches. Ironically this came about due to vandalism a couple of years ago and that the work is probably progressing faster as the railway is currently closed. Perhaps one advantage in the fallout from C-19.
