Now that the dogs are getting on a bit, especially Moo, they aren't fans of long walks as much as they used to be.
So by 10am we had got up, let the dogs have a run around the garden, eaten breakfast and arrived at Risley Moss nature reserve when it opened. It was a lovely couple of hours and pretty deserted at that time on a Sunday morning.
Later it was cutting hedges, mowing lawns and wobbling up a ladder trying to bring some form of order to the willow tree.
All in all a rather lovely day.
