Together ...

... standing tall and straight, bereft of leaves but rocks revealed. Were these deliberately planted and why? I have blipped them before but cant find when! I pondered on whether they might be marking a tomb or a sacred grove. They're not but it's nice to ponder.
Thank you for all the support and useful comments re yesterday's flight dilemma. Himself spent a long time this morning sorting it out and we've bitten the bullet and are returning in business class - the price for our  original ticket (cancelled due to covid), and the second ticket more recently purchased was deducted so if you glance at the price very quickly it's not too ghastly.  We then had to change our flight from Nelson to Auckland but hopefully are now sorted. All very exhausting and the weather was grey and muggy today making us all a bit unsettled and low. It happens.
