The Dingle peninsula is incredibly rich in archaeology. It must have been fierce holy back in the day. Little early Christian enclosures lurk everywhere in the undergrowth, usually with an oratory (teeny church), cross slabs (maybe marking a saint's grave), possibly a holy well and always in the most dramatic and beautiful situation.
