Brancaster Beach

We had to check out by 10am, but I was very organised last night and did the packing, so we didn't have too much to do this morning.  We planned to go to Brancaster beach for a few hours before heading home, and it was good that we got there early as the beach car park was already filling up!

The beach was really busy, although nothing like 'Brighton Busy' We walked about 2 miles to the start of the creek which was really lovely and there were lots of people turning up in boats and setting up on the beach for the day.  At this point we turned round and walked back along the beach and got the picnic out of the car.  We then walked back down the beach until we found a quiet spot to sit and have our picnic.  

We stayed until about 1.30pm and then walked back along the water's edge which was really nice, and were on the road by 2pm and home just before 6pm.

It's been a lovely weekend and we're both feeling refreshed - I even managed to catch up with most of you on the way home :-)
