Day trip

Today we got up early and headed south for a stroll along the beach at Hengistbury Head. We were going to Poole to pick up a painting we had bought but wanted to make the most of being near the coast. It was lovely. We wandered to Southborne to pick up coffee and use the loos - it was already getting busy so we headed back to the quieter area near Hengistbury Head. We had a picnic lunch and a paddle before heading over to get our art. Very happy with it! Home by 4.30 and after an aborted attempt to hang said painting we stopped for dinner and took some advice from the artist! What a lovely day out. We’re all a bit tired and sun kissed!
