I Feel Free

Who doesn’t like free things? I certainly do. A couple of weeks ago Marks and Spencer asked me to complete a survey about their in store rewards scheme “Sparks”. Told them it was confusing and there were no obvious rewards like you get with Boots or Costa (to name but two).
Obviously my words were passed straight to the Chairman as the whole scheme relaunched this week, basically along the lines I had suggested (in the interests of fairness, I suspect I may not have been the only person making such suggestions) and various rewards were on offer straight away.
There’s still a free bag of Percy Pigs to claim at a later date, but what I was after today was a free, stout, reusable, bag. Seemed a shame to take it home empty so treated us to a “Dine In” deal, which also resulted in something else free - the bottle of wine that comes as part of the deal. Exhausted by all this retail activity, we then went and had a coffee and a cake at Caffè Nero, before heading home.
So there we are. A free bag and a free bottle of wine. And I only spent £20......
