My very first blip was a photo of some broad bean seeds. I was envisioning a summer harvest and a pea and bean risotto. 

Last night we had a pea and broad bean risotto, and today I ate some new broad beans raw in this lovely salad. (Obviously it hasn't taken 8 years to grow them!).

A really nice sunny summer day today. Lots of raspberries have been picked, and four more jars of jam made. I've been out on a bike ride, too.

Luke is packing up the car with all his belongings - tomorrow he is moving into his new flat in Edinburgh. Exciting times...
