Redundant?

At last I have had my hair done today. I’ve decided to compromise a bit on both colour and length. It was so long it seemed a shame to just get rid of it all and also decided not to go too far away from the grey - for now!

Anyway relief it is done but sadly these lovely hair slides, bought by my daughter as one of my birthday presents, are now rather redundant. Maybe with the longer length I will still get a chance to use them.

They are stood on a lovely Highland Stoneware pot stand (another b/day gift from her) in the fabulous Cotton Grass design. Might now treat myself to a Malfy gin - yet another present - and call it Saturday!
