I was wanting to wait a couple more months before introducing the wingpiglet to scissors but he apparently spent all morning at one of his toddler-colleague interaction-sessions things cutting little bits of paper into smaller pieces without mis-hap and resumed in the afternoon. Whilst his actual scissoring technique is reasonably safe and cautious he seems to want to maintain the scissoring action with one hand whilst poking about for another large piece of paper with the other and had a couple of flails when he forgot he was still holding them.
Despite getting up quite late he still had a sleep after lunch and crashed shortly after seven, possibly due to continuing low-grade snot-disease (resulting in an enormous green exhibit smeared across most of his cheek and still bubbling out of one snout-hole when he first got up this morning) or conceivably due to some sort of growth-spurt, though the amount he slept over the weekend suggests the former.
