memory pit

Another thing retrieved from my parents' loft for current-child amusement was this, which I had forgotten about but remembered having at the time and which probably came from Dan-yr-Ogof, to which I remember going a few times. I believe the painting was performed by a responsible and patient adult. I don't think it's ever successfully stood by itself, though could perhaps have been opened to have something heavy put down the bottom of the tail.
