Slabber

The ground along the perimeter of the pool collapsed in during the winter.  Last week I lifted two rows of paving slabs along the nine metre pool edge and used one tonne of gravel and dust to fill up the voids. I put another half tonne in holes at the end and along the far side.  Today I laid a sand base, whacked it down with a mechanical compactor and relaid the pavers.  I think it looks great, but my back is suffering a bit.  Mind you the wine seems to be helping the pain!
