Borage

which I grew from seed this year and is just starting to flower. I have been busy tidying up the area I cleared yesterday which gives more light to the greenhouse and can now act as a useful storage area for the compost bins. I have been helped by the hens and a baby Robin.

KK had been off with his mates down the front of the village swimming, it's good to see him getting out again. I also went into town to spend my birthday money at the agricultural suppliers. I purchased a new spade along with chicken feed is that unexciting? Maybe but I haven't bought a new spade for 30 years and I snapped my old one yesterday levering a root out.
