Primrose Lane
I had to go to get my Rx and that meant I had to wait a little bit. Luckily I had my camera so passed a bit of time taking photos in their garden center. I thought the heart shaped design was pretty cute.
As I was leaving, the rain was coming down and the skies to the north were quite dark. The sun popped out in the southern sky and I thought...Rainbow! I didn't see it until I pulled out of their parking lot and then, to the north in that dark sky was the prettiest rainbow. I had to go down a ways to turn to the north and proceed a short distance to Blockbuster to return a movie. I saw this most brilliant of rainbows teasing me and as I was driving I am saying, Oh, please stay. Don't go! It was there, looking like a multicolored jewel in the heavens as I went into the strip mall and turned into the parking lot. It was there when I made another quick right to get into the parking stall. I grabbed the camera and got out of the car, just in time to see it disappear except for one small section over the houses. Crap!!!!!! It was the most brilliantly colored rainbow I think I have ever seen. You will have to take my word for it, although I snapped a photo of the corner remnant. I went in to turn in my movie and got the Indie film, Beasts of the Southern Wild, which I am really looking forward to seeing. I hear it's just excellent. Then as I was leaving this man pulled up in his 1952 International Pickup. I asked him about it and he said it was his dad's who had it on his N.Dakota farm. He'd kept it in the original condition...original paint and all the dings, bumps, bruises and dents that a 1952
pickup might get, out in the world. All of these can be seen on my Flickr page and you are most welcome to look at those.
Hope you are all well, my friends. See ya later
