Journey Through Time

View from I-5 Bridge

I've taken some quick shots from the car on the I-205 Bridge (Glen Jackson Bridge) that \that I have shown you before, , but this view is northbound on the I-5 bridge leaving Oregon for Washington. It was prettier when we went southbound as Mt. Hood was not hidden in the clouds, but by the time we went on our errand and headed for home, the clouds had thickened, but I took it anyway. I was busy in the morning and in the afternoon and this was the only photo I got today. I'm amazed it's as good as it is, as the road over this bridge is quite a bumpy ride and I was bouncing all over the place. But you can see the houseboats that are moored on this part of the river. This is still all of Oregon, with Hayden Island on the left. There are condos and houses and houseboats and marinas all along this area of the Columbia river.

The long day is catching up to me and I think I will actually go to bed at a decent hour tonight. And I am late getting this image on Blip and haven't seen too many journals. I will try to catch up this week.

Hope all is well. See ya later.
