In the steps of the master

Having been inspired by Chris Jepson's wonderful flower shots using flash, which he presented to the photo society on Tuesday evening, I thought I should go into the garden and try it out. Chris makes it look easy. I took loads out there using flash and they were either under/over exposed or out of focus. So I held up a sheet of card behind this agapanthus and got this one. Could be worse, I suppose. 

I did a Joe Wicks session this morning followed by half an hour on the rowing machine and then several hours trying to set up the new iPad. Part of the project is to get LR onto the new pad and get trying that out. One step at a time though. A bit like flash photography.
