Radiator

A 5am start for MrRoly so the alarm went off at 4.15. That’s proper the middle of the night - it was dark!!

Took The Boy down to the cafe he ‘works’ at. He’s been furloughed so no work but has been called in for a meeting at 8.30 - we suspect he’ll be given notice as he’s the youngest there and doesn’t ‘need’ the money. Unfortunately he was a day early!

Dropped Smallest to school and then went to visit a client to get their accounts signed off. I need a few more like them!!

Home to file said accounts and submit tax returns - honestly, my life really is rock and roll - I was distracted by a phone call from one of my ex-colleagues. Lovely to catch up with her but also relief at not still being there.

MrRoly arrived shortly before the plumber who fitted a new radiator in the ex-playroom. It looks very smart. We then picked up a free sofa from our local Facebook ‘free’ group! It’s all coming together. Unfortunately the floor continues to cause us headaches, we can’t find a floor sander to hire anywhere!! A friend of a friend who restores floors is coming for a look tomorrow, fingers crossed he’s affordable!!

Oh and The Boy had his first formal driving lesson this afternoon, his instructor came to introduce herself to us which I thought was nice. She seems lovely and The Boy really enjoyed it and likes her too.

So overall, a most excellent day :-D
