I Can't Help It

I have to give it (or one of the others) a spin whenever I go through to the kitchen.
This is a 3 piece top .... Purple Heart for the tip it spins on, Lignum Vitae for the body and Pine for the stem.
The only other pictures I took today were of the dead Peonies.

The day has consisted .......... of nipping out to the shop for some food - it was remarkably quiet and people were actually being good about social distancing........... a spell at the lathe trying to salvage another rubbish old piece ........... and bit of varnishing said rubbish pieces ........ weeding between the slabs on the patio ......... cutting back some of the hop from the pergola.

That is about it - but it is enough because the back is complaining a bit.
