Alone...
...todays' MonoMonday theme, and thanks to 60Plus for hosting.
Those of you who have followed my journal for awhile will no doubt recognize Bruno. Bruno was my daughters' constant companion since the age of maybe 2 or 3. People would ask her who that was when she was carrying him around, and she always said it was her brother.
Bruno never liked to wear clothes (according to my daughter) so his cloth body is pretty filthy and over the years we lost all of his clothes. When Mae got a little older, I dug Bruno out of his storage box, found a lady on Etsy who made clothes for the cabbage patch preemies, got Bruno some new duds & turned him over to Mae, who loves him as much as her mama did. He was accidentally left behind, so has been forced to play alone until they come back for him. I caught him playing out in the yard, though how he can stand the heat is beyond me; up to 93 degrees right now. We'd driven to the lab for Tom's blood draw, and he'd (reluctantly) agreed to walk along the beach afterwards, which was my original idea for the theme. However, when we got there, the beach was packed & not a mask in sight, so no way was I going to take a chance with him, so we just came home & Bruno saved the day! :)))
