Leopard

Another long day, with lots of time spent bouncing around in the Landcruiser.

We were up and out before dawn (6ish) to look for lions, hippo & leopard. We managed 2 out of 3. The hippos were back in the water by the time we arrived.

This young leopard ambled past us - only a meter or two away as he passed the vehicle.

By late afternoon we were back at Ngorongoro, this time in a lodge for the night. A whistle stop tour of the Serengeti in not much more than 24 hours.
