Flooded

Went to York with the girls for the weekend staying at Victoria Cloisters and was greeted by this sight!

The underground car park at Queens Hotel was flooded and the water was coming up the road so we had to get in the hotel via a side fire door. We were told bay a passer by that the water had been even higher by about another 2 feet!

Kings Arms was still open! You had to go in throught the side door instead. I'm back blipping this so I can tell you that as the weekend went on the water got lower and lower until on Sunday it was back to normal. It didn't take llong to subside.

I love York, it's always a great place to visit.
