Veg

There is a local plant growing project in East Camp, Balivanich, which is raising money for various charities. You go along, pick up either plants, vegetable or both and then decide how much to pay, all of which I think goes to the charity. You also end up having a decent chat about this and that.
Today it was just a box of vegetables and for a 'pick what you've got', this is what I came away with. Doesn't get much fresher, regional, seasonal or sustainable than this.
Baleshare was heaving with gulls delightfully feeding on rotting smelly seaweed so I spent some time looking through them - not always a favourite occupation - and ended up with nothing exotic at all for my efforts.
Ir it Friday so it must be quiz night. I won't say where we finished.
