Get Ready for the Launch

A fairly dull and overcast day, with a couple of showers this morning.  A calm, yet dull evening. 

Weekend off and up early.  A morning working with the boat.  Started off at Madeline's, where mam and dad popped by too.  Walkies in the afternoon, and more tonight.  Feet up by the fire now.  

The boat was ready to launch today.  New paint job, new deck flooring, a good clean and a new engine.  Keiran Hurson arrived with his truck and took it down to the boating club for launching.  Sadly not all has gone to plan.  The engine started no problem, but something not right.  Possibly the propeller or the injectors.  She managed to make it to her berth in the marina.  Thankfully with the help from Donald Sherwood, big Brian and dad, it will be sorted soon.  Taken at the Scalloway Boating Club.
