Burn of Mail
A breezy day, and pouring down this morning. The rain didn't ease until the late afternoon. Dried up, and been a lovely calm evening, some sunny spells, mostly overcast.
I've been working in the museum all day. There's been a cruise ship in Lerwick, and with the wet day, we've been really busy. I headed down the road this evening, and after a hike in the hills, popped by sister Laura's, had a cuppa with mam and uncle Michael. Quiet evening with the telly now.
It was great to be out in the hills this evening, but going down by the burn, after all that rain, it really was a bad idea! Sammy didn't mind getting soaked in the long grass, but uncomfortable for me, wet feet and slowly crept up my jeans! As you can see here at this waterfall, there's no shortage of water running down the hill. Taken west of the sheep pund, below Blett, Burn of Mail, Cunningsburgh.
