Smile at the empty sky and wait for

Today was a good day. 

We ventured out;  farther than the town.  Farther than Kilmarnock (which is as far as we have gone in the last 4 months).... 

Up the M77; turned left at Darnley and headed for Paisley. 

It's been a year since I saw K, and we've been having withdrawal symptoms, and Christmas Presents, birthday presents, engagement presents and moving house presents have been building up in both of our houses. 

So we met.  Three of us, and two of them. 

And it was lovely.  K and A have a beautiful new house.   There will be no drunken lady nights misbehaving because now we are proper ladies who dont misbehave.   We had coffee and examined the downstairs in detail, and the garden. 

We had coffee and tea and cake. 

We swapped presents. 

I was ridiculously spoilt. 

I hope she feels she was too. 

And now I'm delightfully happy.
