The bubblecar museum
I had no intention of going to a pub or a restaurant on the misnamed 'Super Saturday'. I did permit myself a treat in visiting a little museum out in the sticks that I have had on my rainy day list for some time. The bubblecar museum proved to be a little gem. As well as around fifty bubble and micro cars from the UK and Europe, it had reconstructions of 50's and 60's rooms and memorabilia. It made me feel quite old that all my childhood should be represented in a museum! I even spotted my first Bayco building set, pre lego, (see extra) with it little construction rods which could put your eye out. Of course, health and safety did not exist then!
