Seen and unseen 1

This is my kind of week; 2 days at work, 1 day off, 2 days at work, weekend.

Thanks to Waitangi Day, New Zealand's national day where we celebrate the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi, Wednesday is a national holiday.

There are whinges and moaners both Maori and non-Maori when it comes to the Treaty. How about we recognise for once it is our founding document, without it we'd be in a much bigger mess and smile and be nice to one another? Please.

I have a buggy throat and I cough, coughed, coughed most of last night. On the bright side I biked to and from work safely. Plus, I'm optimistic that with sufficient sleep, fresh veges and the application of all the sorts the things my mother insisted were good for me when I was growing up, I will bounding up and over whatever is in my way.

My mate tells me I need a day fishing. He may well be right and tomorrow we'll find out :-)
