Washing Wasp
This was a first for me. I thought it was a large fly at first but on closer inspection I realized it was an Ichneumon Wasp. It may be Ichneumon suspiciosus, which I think is a brilliant name for any insect!
The extras include tiny Cinnarbar Moth caterpillars - really tiny - as the Ragwort flowers hadn't even fully opened. A female Common Blue Damselfly, and a very shy female Banded Demoiselle.
Not a bad collection for an afternoon's stroll...........
