sweet scents

It was Lesley's birthday so she got cover at work and we spent the day at NT Calke Abbey. We walked the extensive grounds and a nice walled garden where these sweet peas grew and also where we found a bench and had a picnic. The kids came around in the evening bringing a nice birthday cake to op off the takeaway I had ordered from Angelos, from our wonderful village Italian restaurant. A lovely day, as birthdays should be.
