Gull takover

After a very wet morning, Mrs P and I took a shorter exercise walk in the afternoon, along to the South Inch.

With fewer people about, the birds around the pond seemed more confident than usual and stood their ground. Especially these black-headed gulls.

On our way back through the town we called in at M&S - only my second shop visit since lockdown. The shop was quiet but we chose to wear masks, feeling quite self-conscious in my case. However I see we'll all be wearing them in shops (in Scotland) soon.
