The heart of things

I liked this rain splashed Dahlia flower. Our first. Our garden this year is seeing lots of firsts, an upside of the COVID-19 crisis. With so many downsides, we need a few upsides.

We need to plan out the next couple of months, and as the weather forecast for tomorrow is for unremitting heavy rain, that’s what we will be doing. I am very aware that Shielding carries real mental and physical health risks, and we need to recognise that and find workarounds.
