Siberian

Venturing out today was a bit like having someone repeatedly drop snowballs down your neck: yes, it was a bit cold. Siberian winds that seemed to weave themselves into the weave into the fabric of my coat as I sloshed along the rain slick streets.
On my travels I noticed the Daily Excess predicting "snow hell" and "travel chaos" later this week: way to be be happy guys! Someone really needs to remind their weather correspondent that the few centimetres we get from time to time in this country would be heartily laughed at as a light dusting in those parts of the world where 'proper snow still falls to the ground !
