Prolific purple petals

Had the worst night for ages last night, still awake after 3........then again after 6, then 7, then 8....then dozed off for a while woke just after 9. Guess who will be going to bed early tonight! Needless to say my planned run this morning didnt happened and annoyingly I have a blister on my heel from my shoes yesterday, they are not new ones either !

We walked into town, the rain had dried up, it was surprisingly warm, got a paper collected the jeans hub was having altered, then walked back.

Sat in the garden with a coffee, reading for a while, then a late lunch. Feeling a bit jaded today....

An afternoon of nothing much, a bit of watering, pottering, deadheading. I did cut back a hypericum in the front garden as the green bin gets emptied tomorrow....I always like to fill it!

Todays blip is our Jackmanni clematis which is looking fabulous, so many buds still to open too. It has spread further in both directions this year than ever before.

I logged my weight with my SW Consultant, this morning, lost a pound this week.

We've had griddled steak with onions, jacket potato and side salad for dinner this evening, very nice and easy to prepare.

Going to be a very lazy evening until my bed calls me.
