Ladies who lunch

After a good night, always a bad one o follow, which I so didnt want, as I was going out with my long time girlfriends, we hadnt all managed to meet up for over 9 months!!

Got myself all ready and drove over to sis's, where L & her husband picked us up and drove us into Manchester city centre, where we met up with our 5 other close friends.

We all really enjoyed our food, not a morsel left, varying degrees of spiciness! Yellow thai spicy noodles for sis, me and L had beef rendang, singapore vermicelli for K, B&L had a very spicy chilli dish with a fried egg on top.

Me & sis had a couple of lovely G&Ts, some of the girls had Dark & Stormy cocktails or Singapore Slings, or some fancy looking fruit salad like thing lol!

Hope I can be forgiven as our waitress took this photo of all of us. Some of us have been friends for 50 years, all of us at least 40!!!

We sat outside afterwards, it was really hot in the sun..... great to see Manchester with its buzz back though.

We all went our separate ways around 4pm. 2 of the girls had long drives back, to Harrogate and Anglesey, whilst the rest of us were within an hour or so.

BiL came to pick us up, it was busy as it was approaching 5. we dropped L back off at home, then came back to sis's, me with my overnight bag in hand.

We've just had a ham sandwich for our tea, with a cuppa......and have just watched the latest Bad Boys film, it was funny, as they are.

BiL has gone up, he was dead beat, me and sis are both sat on our ipads, not literally of course, faffinng a while, dont think either of us will be late to be though.
