On the way out from the Scottish parliament building, I passed the offices of folks who work there. The windows are well protected by stout wooden poles randomly distributed. I think they were the architects response for improved security and I think it a wonderful response.

Down the way, there are these curious gun shapes which acts as reminder of security. Apparently they represent curtains being opened for someone to look and see what's happening. Parliament as an outward looking body. Still think they look like guns.
