Singing

A challenging afternoon.

The choir has decided to have a go st a virtual sing. This has meant that D has had to play and record the piano accompaniment, which has then been sent to each of us.

We then have to sing, listening to the piano accompaniment through headphones attached to our phones, whilst recording our performance on a laptop. I have never sung to my laptop before. And I have never made a video. Or sent the resultant huge file anywhere. All very challenging.

We are both very rusty at singing. We’ll have to practice more.

Singing communally is difficult in the time of Covid-19, heaven knows when choirs will be able to sing together and be safe, so this is the next best thing. Better get practicing.
